Cotman Series 222 brushes are a blend of differing thicknesses achieving the three most important qualities sought after by the artist. The thicker fibres contribute strength and spring whilst the thinner fibres improve colour holding capacity. Together they retain a perfect point time after time. A wide range of sizes and styles to suit all applications is available giving most of the qualities of sable at an economic price. The range, featuring blue polished handles and seamless nickel plated ferrules, is suitable for use with water colour and all water and oil based media.
These brushes are suitable for use with all forms of water based media. They possess an elongated head shape, which gives an extra fine point and greater colour holding capacity, which is more suitable for designers.
